Term Taitanicness

Well....... to be honest words cant describe the way i feel about how term two went. But if i did have to sum it up in one word it would be..............FANTABULOUS!
Term two went swimmingly just like the titanic hahaha ... just joking and thats exactly it. Term two has been laughs, jokes and lots of fun but woven in with lots of tough but important hard work.

To start of with, one of the many exciting things we have been juggling this term is science fair. It was spectacular and is on show right now! (Thursday 17th June) Abby’s science fair was on whether bare feet or sneakers were faster for running on all different different kinds of grounds. Flossii’s science fair was on “Which ice-cream is better for you, bought or homemade”
It was a lot of challenging work but we got through it and we are looking forward to the results on who gets in, to the finals!

“Arts program” How many times have you heard that before you might be thinking that we are talking boring siting down doing nothing just drawing or doing painting, Well your wrong I’m talking about “ Fun exciting drama, Hip hop, Strike and lots of funky work on computers” Over a period of roughly seven weeks we have rotated around four different activities, every body thoroughly loved it.

Abby’s paragraph:

This term has been fascinating, I have improved so much in my work. It has been a great start to year 7 but my mind is bubbling at the thought of being a year 8 next year. I am already involved with a lot of school sports and activities. This was meant to be called the working term, but it wasn’t that hard and most of the time it was just about Science fair, Tech and arts program. Even though it was a lot of work we managed to fit in some fun activities and syndicate trips such as carter observatory. I have really enjoyed having mr Eames as a teacher and most Fridays Mrs Lenningston. Seeing as term 2 has been a blast I bet term 3 will be even more thrilling.

Flossii”s paragraph:

I have had a great time this term. I am really proud of my science fair, my Matariki work and my robot report. Best of all one day in Term 2, Mrs Lenningston read us a story, called the wind between the stars. It was a short but cool story. Miss only read half of the book then she said “I’m not going to read any more, because I want to see how you you would finish it” I had some great ideas so I put all of the ideas together to finish of the rest of the story. There has been a few ups’ that never put me down. I say to myself “Keep on going till it all stops flowing” John Marsden Letters from the inside.

So over all this Term has been even better than last term and neither of us thought that would be possible. We are both so proud of how we have started and finished the term. We are both happy that the holidays are almost starting but we are still sad that the term is finished and we wont be coming back to school for 2 WHOLE WEEKS!. O well this was a great way to finish the term see you next term!
